Math calculators without the filler.

Use the math hub to choose the right small calculator instead of guessing between percentage, percent change, and average.

Use percentage for common percentage questions, percent change for before-versus-after comparisons, and average when you just need the mean of a list without spreadsheet cleanup.

Pick the right tool

Common mix-ups

  • Use percentage when you need “what is 15% of 240?” or “what percent is 18 of 60?”
  • Use percent change when you have a starting value and an ending value.
  • Use average when you need the mean of a list and want the total, minimum, or maximum beside it.
Important limit

Zero and negative values matter

Percent change is not defined when the starting value is zero, and negative values need careful interpretation. That is why the percent-change page now explains its formula and edge cases instead of silently flattening them.
